- Utah Barber Permit Apprenticeship: Barber Permit training at Lavish by Minor Details: 130 supervised training hours, approximately 3.5 weeks of active training. Allow roughly 30–40 days overall; attendance, exams and state approval affect timing. Total tuition is $2,500. A $1,500 non-refundable enrollment deposit enrolls you and reserves your place in line. The remaining $1,000 must be paid before we submit your application to the state to begin training.
